“Hit”

Dying

“Hit”

Two eyes slowly separated
To the intensity of the glowing lights
It was blinding

Run!

It’s impossible
Faster and faster
It’s approaching

Can’t move.

Screams in the unconscious
Get out of the way
Do something

The headlights are approaching!

The warning sign
Yet no one perceives it
It’s here

Then the blow.

The rest is a daze
Pain covered in numbness
Interrogations and reproaches

What if it happens again?

Then the world keeps on going
Empty souls with busy minds
Most barely making the sidewalk

Many are hiding the scars.
